This category includes tests for assessing hormonal function, metabolism, thyroid gland health, diabetes, and electrolyte balance. These analyses help diagnose endocrine and metabolic disorders.

Recommendations for patient preparation:

  1. Blood collection is performed in the morning on an empty stomach.
  2. Avoid alcohol consumption before testing.
  3. Avoid taking medications without a doctor's recommendation.
  4. For the glucose tolerance test:
  5. For 3 days before the test, maintain a normal diet containing at least 125 g of carbohydrates per day.
  6. Avoid physical exertion for 12 hours before the test.
  7. A fasting period of 12–16 hours is required before the test.
  8. Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking, pregnancy, or recent stress.
